You’re involved in your chapter. You work hard year round to fund raise, plan events or put out a newsletter. It’s time to recognize your hard work at ASDA’s Gold Crown Awards.
Formerly the Ideal ASDA Awards and the Journalism Awards, the Gold Crown Awards recognize chapter achievements as well as journalistic excellence. Other awards presented at the ceremony include the Delegate of the Year awards, the Ryan Turner Scholarship and the Crest-Oral B Community Award.
All of this pomp and circumstance will take place at a red carpet event on March 2 at ASDA’s Annual Session in Minneapolis. By applying for a chapter or journalism award, you’ll be recognized in front of more than 300 of your peers and your chapter will receive an award to take back and show off to classmates, professors and administration.
Who should apply? Someone from your chapter who is not a national leader (a district trustee, EC member, council chair, etc.) Be sure to coordinate the effort with several members of your chapter. This will ensure a strong application and several perspectives can give you the added edge you need to win! Applications are due on Jan. 31.
For more information, to download applications, or to upload your application to ASDA’s FTP site, click here.
If you have a question about applications and guidelines, contact Danielle Bauer, chapter relations manager, at Danielle@ASDAnet.org.
Good luck and we’ll see you in Minneapolis!
