How to present yourself

This month’s Mingle Monday comes to you from the 2014-15 Editorial Board. The brand new Ed Board met for the first time at Annual Session 2014 and wanted to share some tips on how to present yourself. Jay Banez is one of ASDA's electronic editors. Originally from Las Vegas, Jay is a D4 at Marquette School of Dentistry. Jay is also the Media & Communications Chair for #MarquetteASDA. You can catch him walking around school occasionally with his camera in hand, posting to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. These efforts helped lead Marquette to its Ideal ASDA Chapter title at the 2014 Gold Crown Awards.

  4. Great job! Was so pleased to see #8 and believe authenticity is one of the most powerful secrets to present yourself. The trick is not just telling your story in a way you think is impressive for others, but expressing enough interest to learn about what other people do so you can genuinely validate them while sharing what you do.
