They just keep getting better! Blogging is fun. In fact, we have chosen our top three blogs that were written just for fun. Of course, we always like to have fun when we write, but you may notice that these posts are particularly quirky, yet all very informational! This is my favorite type of posts because it allows authors to be creative with their topic idea and style of writing. This category is great for learning about miscellaneous dental facts and nearly any audience can find several posts that they can understand and benefit from reading. From calculus buildup and caries to generalized aggressive periodontitis and apical abscesses, the ailments that one can face are near limitless. Cats, dogs and horses are all at risk of developing some of the same issues of the oral cavity that we are, but are often left to deal with the pain and discomfort because they can’t say “Hey! Little cheeks rest on pillows as the night begins, but the excitement keeps eyes wide as they wait for a glimpse of the elusive sprite. But it’s not December 24th and they aren’t waiting for Santa. Those gap-toothed grinners are waiting for the Tooth Fairy. Tongues peek out and poke at that empty spot, the one once filled by the pearly white pebble now lying under the pillow. They can hardly wait until morning to see what the Tooth Fairy has left behind…
Going to classes, working in the clinic, and being involved in student organizations leaves very little time for anything else, let alone preparing a home-cooked meal every night of the week. We often find ourselves once again going to Chipotle or ordering take-out, which may seem like a quick, easy fix but can add up and make a serious dent in our wallets. Today, I want to share with you a great way to save time AND money while preparing the most delicious home cooked meals! My search to try to find an efficient way to feed a household of two with minimal effort lead me to crock-pot freezer meals…
