The toothbrush subscription service you have to try

Maybe you’ve heard of subscription services. Or maybe you’ve been living under a rock. For a small monthly fee, you can get a surprise of assortments delivered straight to your door. It all started with the New York-based startup Birchbox, which sent women a box of curated cosmetic samples every month. Since then, the subscription services industry has exploded. Whether you’re a budding chef, a dog lover or a razor blade connoisseur, there’s a subscription box for you!

But there is one way to really capture a dentist’s (or future dentist’s) attention. Subscription toothbrush and toothpaste.  Yes, you heard that correctly.

Quip

Quip is a subscription toothbrush service that aims to revolutionize oral health through beautiful, simple and affordable products. For $25-$40, you get a start up kit with an electronic toothbrush, toothbrush case and toothpaste. Choose your favorite toothbrush from a variety of sleek designs. How many of you forget to replace your toothbrush every three months? With replacement toothbrush heads and toothpaste delivered straight to your door at a regular cadence, you will never deal with worn down bristles and bacteria-infested brush heads again.

Here are some other subscription service favorites from your ASDA Editorial Board:

MJ AndersonI am an OG fan of the fitness fashion subscription service Ellie. With our busy lives, having time to workout feels like a little luxury.  Doing it in style? Even better. – MaryJane Anderson

Sean LeeAs someone whose coffee consumption skyrocketed since starting dental school, I appreciate the anticipation the delivery of my Mistobox coffee subscription brings. Mistobox does the work for you, collecting fine roasts from around the world and sending samples to your doorstep every month. I also recommend investing in a good coffee grinder (hand crank grinders are very affordable). – Sean Lee

Jay BanezMy favorite subscription is Dollar Shave Club. Nothing’s worse than shaving with a dull blade. I never have to worry about that because my razors come razor sharp every month. I don’t grow very heavy facial hair, but when I do shave my face is smoother than a baby’s bottom. Genius idea for genius men. – Jay Banez

Stephanie TingSometime during dental school, I got sick of eating broccoli for every meal. That’s when I discovered Blue Apron! Each week, I get a box of pre-portioned farm fresh ingredients that coincide with carefully crafted recipes. I won’t claim to be a master chef. But I do have a few meals such as beef dukbokki and harissa-glazed carrots in my cooking arsenal now. – Stephanie Ting

My favorite subscription is the PopSugar Must Have Box. You can get a box for around ~$40 and it comes with an assortment of things! I have received makeup, candles, workout equipment, and yummy snacks! It feels like Christmas every time I get a box because the items are always a surprise. I really like the PetBox! They offer a huge variety of toys, snacks, and other goodies (including dental treats) for both cats and dogs. I love surprising my dog, Belka, every month. The best part is that for every box that is shipped out, PetBox feeds a rescue animal!

My favorite subscription boxes are Ipsy and Graze! Graze boxes are a fun way to try new snacks every month/week. Although AmazonPrime isn’t a subscription box, two-day shipping makes online shopping a breeze!

First off, I love this article! I love that oral hygiene can be a bit easier with a subscription service.

I enjoy Stitch Fix because I am thrilled when I received new, versatile outfits. When I’m looking for something different or have a budget to mind (always), I can adjust my preferences online. It’s so easy! #HelloPersonalStylist
